Information extraction from ultrasound signals in inhomogeneously predeformed viscoelastic media
The propagation of ultrasound signals in nonlinear viscoelastic media undergoing plane inhomogeneous predeformation is investigated theoretically. The main aim of this investigation is (i) to derive the mathematical algorithm that describes the dependence of wave characteristics on the parameters of the media and predeformation and (ii) to propose the method of information extraction from the wave propagation data.<>
