Design and simulation of S band Triangular Koch fractal based Yagi-Uda antenna

In this paper, a Triangular Koch fractal based Yagi-Uda antenna is presented and experimentally investigated. The first iteration triangular Koch fractal is introduced on dipole Yagi-Uda to have compact size and high gain. The fabricated antenna exhibits excellent performance at 3 GHz and another resonance at 8.65 GHz. The koch fractal on dipole with 0.42λ as feeder on Yagi-Uda demonstrated 10.2dBi gain at 3 GHz and Return loss is −16.533dB.
