Biography
Mira Kartiwi (Member, IEEE) is currently a Professor with the Department of Information Systems, Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology, and the Deputy Director of e-learning with the Centre for Professional Development, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). She is an experienced consultant specializing in the health, financial, and manufacturing sectors. Her current research interests include health informatics, e-commerce, data mining, information systems strategy, business process improvement, product development, marketing, delivery strategy, workshop facilitation, training, and communications. She was one of the recipients of Australia Postgraduate Award (APA), in 2004. For her achievement in research, she was awarded the Higher Degree Research Award for Excellence, in 2007. She has also been appointed as an editorial board member in local and international journals to acknowledge her expertise.
