Biography

Mohammed Abdulaal received the B.Eng. degree in mechatronic engineering from The University of Manchester, Manchester, U.K., in 2012, the M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from King Abdullah University for Science and Technology, Thuwal, Saudi Arabia, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Manchester in 2019.
He is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. His Ph.D. research involved design and implementation of a low-level electroencephalography recognition system and brain–computer interface. His research interests include signal processing and machine learning of biomedical systems, Hajj research, traffic control systems, cybersecurity, and various image processing applications.
