Biography

Yasser Al-Eryani was born in Sana’a, Yemen. He received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from IBB University, Ibb, Yemen, in 2012, the M.Sc. degree in telecommunications engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, MB, Canada. He is currently working as a 5G Baseband System Developer with Ericsson Canada. He has several issued and submitted patents, transactions and conference papers in cooperative communications, cognitive radio, optical wireless communication, and energy harvesting. He has participated and presented in many international conferences in related research topics. His research interests are design and analysis of wireless communication networks.
