Biography
Se Un Ahn was born in Incheon, South Korea in 1957. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from Mackenzie University (1981). He earned a master's degree and doctorate in electrical engineering both from the Polytechnic School of USP, 1993 and 1997, respectively. It has about 80 papers published in conferences and in the IEEE Transactions. Works with the Distribution Research Projects since 1979 (consulting), and since 1986 as research engineer and currently in the area of Power Quality, Group CPFL Energia. Professional activities include: studies of electromagnetic phenomena and transient and disturbance; Analysis of special loads; Loading criteria for power system, Technical losses, Planning, Application of artificial neural networks in power system etc.
