Biography
Berk Akgun received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical and electronics engineering from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Türkiye, in 2012 and 2014, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in ECE from The University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ, USA, in 2019. From 2012 to 2014, he was a Software Design Engineer with the Communication and Information Technologies Division of Aselsan, Ankara. He is currently a Senior Engineer with Qualcomm Technologies Inc. His research interests include mmWave channel characterization, robust mmWave system design, secure multiuser MIMO systems, and wireless communications and networking, with an emphasis on designing and integrating next-generation private networks.
