Biography
Mohamed Abdelsalam received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, and the Doctor of Information Science and Technology degree from Osaka University, Osaka, Japan.
He was with Mentor, A Siemens Business, Cairo, Egypt, from 1998 to 2002 researching on software development of circuit simulation and IC layout tools, and in development of FPGA advantage/HDS tool, and again in 2008 to present, in Global Research and Development Egypt MED solutions as a Principal Engineer, researching on hardware emulation-based solutions in area of storage, automotive, and IoT. His current research interests include hardware/software co-design, embedded systems, and communication protocols IPs.
