Biography

Jesus Alvarez (Senior Member, IEEE) was born in Leon, Spain. He received the B.Sc. degree from the University of Cantabria, Santander, Spain, in 2001, the M.Sc. degree from the University Carlos III of Madrid, Getafe, Spain, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Granada, Granada, Spain, in 2013.
Since 2006, he has been with Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe, Spain, working as an RCS, Antenna and EMC Engineer. He has authored or coauthored over 70 refereed publications in the form of peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings. His current research interests include radar imaging, computational electrodynamics in time domain, method of moments and fast algorithms for integral equations in frequency domain, and computational electromagnetics (EMs) applied to EM compatibility, antenna, and radar cross section.
