Biography

Abdallah S. Abdallah (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree from the Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Virginia Tech, in 2016. He has experience with the Telecommunication Industry, such as Broadcom Company and Intel Company. He has been a Faculty Member with the Penn State Erie-The Behrend College since 2017, where he is currently an Assistant Professor of computer engineering. He believes in how critical undergraduate research for bridging between teaching and research, so he utilizes related pedagogical techniques in the classrooms. His research interests include wireless networks, image processing, video streaming over HTTP, applied machine learning for resource allocation in wireless networks, and computer vision for the Internet of Things (IoT) devices. He serves as a Regular Reviewer for IEEE Network Magazine and IEEE Access journal.
