Biography
Angelos Echiadis was born in Orestiada, Greece, in 1977. He received the 1st Class B.Eng. degree in electrical and electronic engineering with distinction from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland, and the Ph.D. degree in photonics and health technology from Loughborough University, Leicestershire, U.K., in 2003 and 2007, respectively.
Currently, he works as a biomedical systems engineering professional at Dialog Devices Ltd., Loughborough, U.K. His research interests include multidimensional signal acquisition and characterization of live tissues, as well as photoplethysmography in pulse oximetry and in other medical applications.
