Biography

Anthony Theodore Chronopoulos obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a full professor at the Department of Computer Science, The University of Texas at San Antonio, USA. Also, he is a visiting professor at the Department Computer Engineering & Informatics, University of Patras, Greece. He is the author of 121 journal and 74 peer-reviewed conference proceedings publications in the areas of Parallel and Distributed Computing, Cloud and High-Performance Computing, Computer Networks and Wireless Communications, Machine Learning and Applications to Science and Engineering. He is a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (Euro-Acad , 2021), a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (FAAAS, 2022), the Institute of Engineering and Technology (FIET, former IEE, 2017), Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (FIMA, 2023), ACM Senior member (SMACM, 2016), IEEE Senior life member (SMLIEEE, 1997).
