Biography

Abdullah F. Al-Battal was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 1988. He received the B.S. degree (Hons.) in electrical engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in 2010, and the M.Sc. degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, USA, in 2013.
In 2011, he joined Electrical Engineering Department, KFUPM, as a Graduate Assistant, where he has been a Lecturer since 2013. His research interests include digital signal and image processing with applications to seismic and medical imaging.
Mr. Al-Battal has been a member of the IEEE Honor Society and the IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu since 2012. He is also a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists.
