Biography
Abdullah Mohammad Al-Shehri (M'05) was born in M.B. Shehr, Saudi Arabia, on March 22, 1954. He received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in 1980 and the Ph.D. degree in power systems from Oregon State University, Corvallis, in 1985.
He is Vice Governor of the Electricity and Co-Generation Regulatory Authority, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and also an ex-Member of the Shura Council. He was previously a Professor of Electrical Engineering, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in electrical power systems analysis.
