Biography
Alfredo Cuzzocrea is currently a Professor in computer engineering with the University of Calabria, Rende, Italy. He is the Head of the Big Data Engineering and Analytics Lab, University of Calabria. He is author or coauthor of more than 550 articles. His research interests include big data, database systems, data mining, data warehousing, and knowledge discovery. He is recognized in prestigious international research rankings, such as 1) Top Scientists in computer science and electronics by Guide2Research, Clifton, NJ, USA; 2) Top 2% World-Wide Scientists by METRICS, Stanford, CA, USA, from 1996 to 2019; 3) Top Researchers in computer science by SciVal–Elsevier, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, from 2013 to 2018; and 4) Top Italian Scientists in computer sciences by Virtual Italian Academy, Manchester, U.K.
