Biography

R. Badlishah Ahmad (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. degree (Hons.) in electrical and electronic engineering from Glasgow University, in 1994, and the M.Sc. degree in optical electronic engineering and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Strathclyde, in 1995 and 2000, respectively. He is currently a Professor with SCCE, UniMAP and a Vice Chancellor of UniMAP. His research interests are in computer and telecommunication network modeling using discrete event simulators, optical networking, and embedded system based on GNU/Linux.
