Biography

Abdulrahman A. Alsewari (Senior Member, IEEE) was born in Sana’a, Yemen, in 1980. He received the B.Eng. degree in computer engineering from the Military College of Engineering, Baghdad, Iraq, in 2002, and the M.Sc. degree in electronic system design engineering and the Ph.D. degree in software engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia, in 2008 and 2012, respectively. From 2013 to 2022, he was an Associate Professor and a Researcher with the Department of Software Engineering, Faculty of Computing, Universiti Malaysia Pahang. He is currently the Machine Learning Laboratory Leader, a Seminar Coordinator, and a Senior Lecturer with the College of Computing, Faculty of Computing, Engineering, and the Built Environment, Birmingham City University, U.K. He has authored or coauthored one book, more than 80 articles, and more than ten inventions. His research interests include software engineering, software testing, optimization algorithms, artificial intelligence, soft computing, embedded systems, and image processing.
