Biography
Ching-Ming Lai (IEEE Senior Member) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the National Tsing Hua University in 2010. Since 2019, he has been with the Dept. Electrical Engineering, National Chung Hsing University. He is currently a Professor, and his research interests include EVs, power electronics, and energies. Dr. Lai receives distinctive awards, including the Best Paper Award (IEEE PEDS, 2013), the Technical Award Paper (IEEE PESA, 2024), the Outstanding Youth Electrical Engineer Award (CIE-Taiwan, 2018) , the Outstanding Youth Control Engineer Award (CACS-Taiwan, 2019), the Outstanding Youth Engineer Award (CIE-Taichung, 2020), the Ta-You Wu Memorial Award (National Science and Technology Council of Taiwan, 2023), the Outstanding Engineering Professor (CIE-Taichung, 2024). Since 2021, he has been listed in the World Top 2% of Scientists (Elsevier). He has been serving as an Editor of IEEE T. VEH. TECHNOL., since 2017. He is a Fellow of IET/AIE.
