Biography
Hairul A. Abdul-Rashid received the B.Eng. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from University College, London, in 1997, the M.Eng.Sc. degree in signal processing from Multimedia University in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree in optical communication systems from Multimedia University in 2007. He has been with the Faculty of Engineering, Multimedia University, since 1998. He currently lectures at the faculty besides leading a research team with the Center for Photonics and Electronic Devices in specialty fiber fabrication, optical amplifiers, fiber sensors, and fiber lasers.
