Biography

Jose A. Lozano is head of the Autonomic Systems Division at Telefónica I+d. He holds a M.S.Eng. degree in telecommunication from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He has more than 15 years' experience in the network and services management area, where he has been involved mainly in activities related to technological and strategic consultancy. His research interests include distributed management systems, and adaptive and self-managed infrastructure engineering. He is participating in some standardization bodies such as ETSI and the TeleManagement Forum.
