Biography
Özgü Alay (Member, IEEE) received the BSc and MSc degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Middle East Technical University, Turkey, and the PhD degree in electrical and computer engineering from the Tandon School of Engineering, New York University. She is currently an associate professor with the University of Oslo, Norway. She is also the head of Mobile Systems and Analytics (MOSAIC) Department, Simula Metropolitan, Norway. Her research interests include empirical characterization of mobile networks and, the design of novel protocols and applications for future mobile networks.
