Biography

Oscar Barambones (M’07–SM’13) received the M.Sc. degree in applied physics, majoring in electronics and automatic control, and the Ph.D. degree in applied physics from the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of the Basque Country, Spain, in 1996 and 2000, respectively, where he is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Systems Engineering and Automatic Control. His research interests focus on the field of designing and implementing advanced control schemes for nonlinear systems.
