Biography

Muhammad Imran Afzal was born in Faisalabad, Pakistan in December, 1979. He earned the M.S. degree in physics from COMSATS Institute of Information Tech nology, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2007. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in School of Information and Communications, Gwangju Institute Science and Technology, Gwangju, Korea, where he is a Research Assistant. From 2007 to 2009, he worked as Researcher in Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science, University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan. His research interests include nonlinear dynamics in passive fiber ring resonators, photon thermalization and entanglement, and optical Bose–Einstein condensation.
