Biography

Muhammad Imran received the M.I.T. degree in information technology from the University of the Punjab, Pakistan, in 2007, the M.S.I.T. degree in information technology from the National University of Science and Technology, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from the School of Electronic Engineering, Dublin City University, Ireland. He has been a Senior Scientific Officer (Permanent) with the National Centre for Physics, Research Institute, Pakistan, since July 2008. He is currently with the C.M.S. Offline Group, CERN, Geneva, Switzerland. His research interests include software engineering, big data, cloud computing, and software defined networks.
