Biography

Ameer Ahmed received the M.S. degree in communication engineering from the Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2010. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the College of Information Science and Electronic Engineering, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. He was with ZTE Pakistan, from 2005 to 2008, where he was a Senior Intranet Engineer. From 2011 to 2013, he was initially a Lecturer and then an Assistant Professor with COMSATS University Islamabad at Sahiwal Campus, Pakistan. He is currently with the Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Information Processing and Communication Networks, Hangzhou. His research interests are mainly in wireless caching networks, the performance evaluation of mobile ad hoc networks, and the Internet of Things.
