Biography

Dr. Anita Sengupta is the Project Manager of the Cold Atom Laboratory mission, at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. At JPL she has been designing and developing plasma propulsion and entry, descent and landing systems for the past decade. Prior to CAL she was the parachute systems engineer for the Mars Science Laboratory Mission. She holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Boston University and M.S. and Ph.D. in Aerospace engineering from the University of Southern California.
