Biography

Moncef Kadi received the Electr. Eng. Dipl. Degree from the University of Constantine, Constantine, Algeria, in 1996, the master's Research degree (D.E.A) in optoelectronic, optics and microwaves from the National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble (INPG), Grenoble, France, in 2001, and the Ph.D. degree in RF and optics from the University Joseph Fourier, Grenoble, in 2004, and the HDR: Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches degree from the University of Rouen Normandie, Mont-Saint-Aignan, France, in 2011.
In October 2004 he joined Ecole Supérieure d'Ingénieurs (ESIGELEC), Rouen, France, as an Associate Professor. Since 2011, he has been the Head of the Electronic and Systems research group of the Research Institute for Embedded systems (IRSEEM) Laboratory. His current research interests include the area of EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) modeling and characterisation, thermal effect on electronic components and systems, active antennas for 5G and aeronautic applications, energy harvesting and reliability and robustness of wide gap GaN and SiC power transistors.
Dr.Kadi co-supervised and directed 15 Ph.D. students. He has co-authored 26 international journal articles, 50 international conference articles, 20 national conference articles and five international text book chapters. He has coauthored 26 international journal articles, 50 international conference articles, 20 national conference articles, and five international text book chapters. He is regularly involved in national/international research projects with academic and industrial partners. He was a leader of several research projects in several domains, such as automotive, aeronautic, electronic and energy. He is the Scientific Chair of the 16th “Colloque Internationale et exposition sur la Compatibilité Électromagnétique CEM 2012” and a member of the 5th International Conference on Electromagnetic Near Field Characterization and Imaging in 2011, and a member of the 21st “Journées Nationales Micro-Ondes JNM2019” in 2019.
