Biography
Youssef Adlaoui received the Engineering degree from ESTP, Paris, in 2006. His engineering career began with MANAGEM, in September 2006, where he accumulated a wealth of industry-specific knowledge and leadership experience. He was the Head of Mining Service, from December 2009 to December 2013, where he was responsible for technical assistance, planning, and project execution. He also holds the position of the Technical Director of MANAGEM, ONA-SNI, since January 2014, responsible for overseeing engineering studies, design, cost estimation, and performance monitoring of mining operations across Morocco and various other African countries including Guinea, Gabon, Sudan, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Zambia, and Democratic Republic of the Congo. He managed project studies and engineering with MANAGEM from June 2017 to December 2018, with a focus on project resources, planning, cost estimation, and budget management. He enhanced his project management skills with a certification from Ecole Centrale de Lille, from 2017 to 2018, with a focus on strategic planning, resource management, budget management, and contract negotiation. In his current role, he leads the Mining Engineering Department, Marrakech, Morocco, where he directs advanced training on diverse mining disciplines, including mining methods, infrastructure design, backfill, ventilation, dewatering, extraction systems, planning, economic studies, and reserve estimation, adhering to international standards, such as NI43-101 and JORC. He has been the Mining Engineering Director of REMINEX-MANAGEM, since January 2018. He is currently the seasoned Project Manager with extensive expertise in both open pit and underground mining operations. His duties extend to training and managing diverse teams across various mining sites.
