Biography
Intissar Benzakour received the State Engineering degree from the National School of Mineral Industry, Rabat, in 1992. She has been the Head of the Reminex Research Center, Managem Group, since 2000. She was in charge of hydrometallurgical activities of Cobalt cathode production and its by-products, for five years, in 2007. In 2011, she was appointed as the Scientific and Sustainable Development Director of the Base Metals and Cobalt Branch and held this position, until 2017, where she was appointed as the Scientific Director and Innovation with Reminex, until now. She is currently the Scientific and Innovation Director of Reminex, a subsidiary of MANAGEM Group. She is in charge of the Research Center and Innovation, Reminex. With more than 30 years of experience in research and development and innovation in the mining sector with Managem, where she has held several responsibilities in research and development, hydrometallurgy, production activities, sustainable development, and innovation.
