Biography

Khaled Y. Al-Soufi was born in Jordan, in 1957. He received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia, in 1981, and the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in 1985. He is currently a Research Engineer III with the Applied Research Center for Metrology Standards and Testing, Research Institute, KFUPM, where he is actively participating in teaching, and managing various client and internally funded research projects. His research interests include high voltage insulators, power systems analysis and studies, and supervising the high voltage laboratory of KFUPM.
