Biography
Juan Carlos Augusto [m] focuses on the design and implementation of intelligent environments, to which he has contributed more than 100 publications, including the Handbook on Ambient Intelligence and Smart Environments. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Book Series on Ambient Intelligence and Smart Environments, Program Chair of Pervasive Healthcare 2011 and IE '11, and Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal on Ambient Intelligence and Smart Environments.
