Biography
Byron A. Adams received the B.S. degree in geology from Ball State University, Muncie, IN, USA, in 2005, the M.S. degree in geology from the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH, USA, in 2007, and the Ph.D. degree in geosciences from Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ, USA, in 2014.
He was a Research Fellow with the University of Tübingen, Tübingen, Germany, before starting at the School of Earth Sciences, University of Bristol, Bristol, U.K., in 2017, where he is a Research Fellow. While at Bristol, he was granted an AXA Research Fund Fellowship and now holds a Royal Society Dorothy Hodgkin Fellowship. His research interests include change detection, landscape evolution modeling, and mapping geological features from remote sensing data.
