Biography
Hanaa Abumarshoud (Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Khalifa University, UAE, in 2013 and 2017, respectively. She is currently employed as a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the LiFi Research and Development Centre, School of Engineering, The University of Edinburgh, U.K. Her research interests include the applications of information theory and signal processing techniques in optical wireless communications, particularly visible light communications and LiFi systems, and developing enabling techniques to enhance the performance, reliability, and the security of LiFi systems.
