Biography

Reuben Hackam (M'76–SM'76–F'88) received the B.S. degree from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel, and the Ph.D. and D.Eng. degrees from the University of Liverpool, U.K., in 1960, 1964, and 1988, respectively.
From 1964 to 1968, he was with General Electric-English Electric Company, Stafford, U.K. From 1969 to 1978, he was with the University of Sheffield and, since 1979, he has been a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Windsor, Canada, where he holds the position of University Distinguished Professor. During 1998–1999, he was on sabbatical leave at Kumamoto University, Japan.
