Biography
Mohamed Abouhawwash received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in statistics and computer science from Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt, in 2005 and 2011, respectively, and the joint Ph.D. degree in statistics and computer science with the Channel Program between Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI, USA, and Mansoura University, in 2015. He is currently with the Department of Computational Mathematics, Science, and Engineering (CMSE), Biomedical Engineering (BME) and Radiology, Institute for Quantitative Health Science Engineering (IQ), Michigan State University. He is also an Associate Professor with the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, Mansoura University, where he was a recipient of the best master’s and Ph.D. thesis awards, in 2012 and 2018, respectively.
