Biography

Sherif Barakat received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Faculty of Science, Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt, and the Ph.D. degree from the Faculty of Science, Helwan University, Helwan, Egypt, in 2003. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Computers and Information, Mansoura University. He has authored or coauthored over 50 research publications in peer-reviewed reputed journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings. His current research interests include machine learning, pattern recognition, and artificial intelligence.
