Mr. Quirós received summa cum laude and the Borchers-Badge from RWTH Aachen University for his doctoral dissertation on “Model-based decentralized automatic management of product flow paths in processing plants,” and the NAMUR Award in Process Automation 2010 from the User Association of Automation Technology in Process Industries.
