Biography

Md. Shahriar Hasan received the B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), in 2024. He is currently a Research Assistant with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, AUST, under the supervision of Prof. A. K. M. Baki. He has worked on projects involving metamaterial-based polarization converters and phase-reconfigurable metasurfaces. He has received various accolades for his research projects and represented Bangladesh at the Stockholm Junior Water Prize on the international stage, in 2019. His main areas of research interest includes analog and microwave circuit designs. Recently, he has developed an interest in metamaterial-based research and reconfigurable intelligent surfaces. He aspires to pursue higher studies in advanced electromagnetics and metasurfaces.
