Biography

Rohit Bhakar (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from M.B.M. Engineering College, Jodhpur, India, the M.Tech. degree in power system engineering from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, Jaipur, India, and the Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee, India. He was a Prize Fellow with Energy Demand Reduction, Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Bath, Bath, U.K. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur. His research interests include power system operation and economics, network pricing, electricity markets, and energy storage.
