Biography
Sajjad Abedi (S’09–M’17) received the B.Sc. degree (Hons.) from the Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran, the M.Sc. degree (Hons.) from the Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Tehran, Iran, and the Ph.D. degree from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX, USA, in 2017, all in electrical engineering. He is currently a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowwith the Department of Mathematics, School of Mechanical Engineering, Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA. His research interests include power system modeling and operations, renewable energy integration, uncertainty and risk modeling, and predictive data analytics.
