Biography

Salman Ali received the B.E. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering with majors in telecommunication from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2009 and 2012, respectively. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in computer science engineering at Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI, USA.
From 2012 to 2014, he was a Research Assistant with the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, NUST. He was also a Network Engineer with SimpliCity Labs, Pakistan, in 2015. His research interests include computer networks and wireless systems, software-defined networks, future internet design, optimization algorithm, RF planning, and performance modeling.
