Biography
Toshihisa Funabashi (M’90–SM’96) received the B.S. degree in engineering from Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan, and the Doctor of Engineering degree from Doshisha University, Kyoto, Japan, in 1975 and 2000, respectively. From April 1975 to March 2014, he was with the Meidensha Corporation. From April 2014 to March 2018, he was a Professor with Nagoya University. He is currently a Visiting Professor with the University of the Ryukyus, Nishihara-cho, Japan. He is a Chartered Engineer in U.K., a senior member of IEE of Japan, and a member of IET.
