Biography
Chiweta E. Abunike (Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in 2012, and the M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU), Nigeria, in 2017 and 2023, respectively. He is a lecturer in the Department of Electrical/Electronic Engineering at MOUAU. In 2020, he received a fellowship at the Durban University of Technology, South Africa, and in 2022, a fellowship at the University of Aberdeen, UK, through the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission. His research interests include multi-objective optimization, finite element analysis applications, and the design of electrical drives and renewable energy systems.
