Biography
Abe A. Akhiyat (GS’12–M’12) received the bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the College of Engineering, University of Illinois, Champaign, IL, USA, in 1998 and 2001, respectively.
He was a High Performance MMIC and MIC Designer and a System Engineer in the field of RF, infra-red, and ultraviolet missile defense systems with Northrop Grumman. He is currently a Visiting Scholar with the Electro Science Laboratory, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA.
