Biography
Md Abdus Samad (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in information and communication engineering from Chosun University, Gwangju, South Korea. He was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, International Islamic University Chittagong, Chattogram, Bangladesh, from 2013 to 2017. He has been a Research Professor with the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Yeungnam University, South Korea. His research interests include signal processing, antenna design, electromagnetic wave propagation, applications of artificial neural networks, deep learning, and millimeter-wave propagation by interference and/or atmospheric causes for 5G and beyond wireless networks. He won the prestigious Korean Government Scholarship (GKS) for his Ph.D. study.
