Biography
Muhammad Farasat Abbas was born in Multan, Pakistan, in February 1992. He received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Xián Jiaotong University (XJTU), China, in July 2015 and July 2021, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Electrical Power Engineering Department, U.S.-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCAS-E), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan. He is also associated with the High Voltage Laboratory, NUST. His research interests include high-voltage insulation, low-temperature discharge plasma, and power system protection.
