Biography

Amjad Ali received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer science from the COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Lahore, Pakistan, in 2006 and 2008, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electronics and radio engineering from Kyung Hee University, South Korea, in 2015. Since 2015, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, Pakistan. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow with the MNC Laboratory, Department of Electrical Engineering, Korea University, Seoul, South Korea. He has published a number of research articles in refereed international journals and conferences. His main research interests include multimedia transmissions over cognitive radio networks, 5G cellular networks, multimedia cloud computing, the Internet of Things, and intelligent transportation systems and sensor networks.
