Biography
Frank Achten received the M.Sc. degree in technical physics from the
University of Twente, Enschede, the Netherlands, in 1992.
In 2000, he started working for Plasma Optical Fiber (optical fiber plant, part of Draka, since 2011 part of Prysmian Group in Eindhoven). In 2003, he changed to “R&D Product Development” as “Measurement Development Engineer.” Since 2013, he has been with the group “Specialties and Product Characterization,” where the group has to realize and characterize any kind of specialty fiber, on customer or internal request.
