Biography

Mushtaq Ahmad received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan, in 1990; the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA, in 1994; and the Masters of Telecommunication Management degree from the Institut National Des Telecom France, Evry, France, in 1999. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree with COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Wah Cantt, Pakistan.
He has served as an Incumbent Operator with Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited; as a Regulator with the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority; as a Member (Telecom) with the Ministry of Information Technology and Communication, Pakistan; and as the Chief Executive Officer of reputable public and private institutions. He is currently a Principal Engineer with COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Pakistan. His main research interests include resource allocation in next-generation networks.
