Biography
Alaa Al-Ibadi received the bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and the M.Sc. degree in computer and control system from the University of Basrah, Iraq, in 2001 and 2005, respectively. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the University of Salford, Manchester, U.K. He was an Assistant Lecturer with the Computer Engineering Department, University of Basrah. His research interests include biologically inspired systems, soft robotics, pneumatic muscle actuators, multi-robot systems, and intelligent control.
